All signified aye, motion <br />approved. <br /> <br />Barnes made a motion to approve the consent items, seconded by Postma. All signified aye, <br />motion approved. <br /> <br />There were no citizen presentations. <br /> <br />Approval of Arbor Day Planting Plan and Project: <br />Staff and the tree committee met and are requesting consideration for two tree planting projects <br />th <br />for Arbor Day. Locations include planting trees on the islands on 128 and the trail head at <br />th <br />78 and University. <br /> <br />Reed made a motion to approve the request, Barnes seconded the motion. All signified aye, <br /> <br />motion approved. <br /> <br />Approval of Concession Food and Beverage Pricing for 2011: <br />Staff has been working with a vendor, Automatic Beverage, to develop a proposed pricing plan <br />for items to be sold at the concessions at the aquatic center and Campbell Recreation Area this <br />season. Staff requests approval of the proposed pricing plan. <br /> <br />Shetler made a motion to approve the concession pricing and Postma seconded the motion. <br />All signified aye, motion approved. <br /> <br />Model Bicycle Ordinance: <br />Staff along with other members of the MPO bicycle and Pedestrian Roundtable have been <br />working for several months to develop this model ordinance in hopes that all of the MPO <br />member communities will adopt the same ordinance providing bicyclists with an area wide set <br />of rules rather than many different ordinances related to bicycles and their use. Staff reviewed <br />the model ordinance with the board noting additional input is needed from the police chief in <br />regards to registration. That information should be available for the board to review in May. <br /> <br /> <br />Park Facility Use by Commercial Service Providers: <br />Staff questioned the Boards previous discussions regarding the fee schedule. The Board noted <br />that a set schedule rather than a case by case review should be sufficient to begin this program. <br />Staff will draft a schedule and email to the board for their review by mid-month. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
