All signified aye, <br /> motion approved <br /> Citizens Presentations: <br /> Reed Bermel, West Des Moines resident, has participated in Clive's Urban Deer Management <br /> Program and likes working with staff as well as hunting in Clive. He is requesting that the Board <br /> consider adding a buck incentive program to the urban deer hunt program similar to other <br /> communities. <br /> Eagle Scout Project—Grant Taylor: <br /> Grant Taylor, 16180 Aurora Ct., presented his Eagle Scout Project for a rest area on the Green- <br /> belt Trail. The location suggested is in the Verona Hills neighborhood where the pedestrian <br /> access meets Aurora Court just north of the bridge over Little Walnut Creek. <br /> Easler made a motion to approve the project subject to staff comments regarding the twee <br /> selection and working with staff to coordinate the placement of the rock sitting stones, <br /> seconded by Reed All signified aye, motion approved <br /> Special Park Use Permit—Metro Art Alliance Rock n' Run: <br /> Scott Stevens, 9612 Palm Circle, Urbandale, presented a request from the Metro Arts Alliance <br /> for a running event called Rock n' Run to be held on Saturday, September 22. The nun is to start <br /> at the Clive Aquatic Center and proceed along the Greenbelt trail (the same route as the 2012 <br /> Running Festival). The event will include music, a 5K nun, and possibly a children's fun nun. <br /> The event is hoping to draw up to 500 runners and would be a fundraiser for the Metro Arts <br /> Alliance. <br /> Reed made a motion to approve the event, seconded by Crawford All signified aye, motion <br /> approved <br /> Campbell Recreation Area Signage Options: <br /> Matt McQuillen, Assistant City Manager, provided the Board with the signage plan as noted in <br /> the 2012 Clive Signage Study. The park will require a regional park sign for the entrance and <br /> there are three available options for park information kiosks along with the final determination of <br /> a location for the kiosk. The regional park sign will be located at the entrance in the same <br />
