All signified aye, motion <br /> approved <br /> Easler made a motion to approve the consent items, seconded by Martin. All signified aye, <br /> motion approved <br /> Citizens Presentations: <br /> Reed Bermel, West Des Moines resident, has participated in Clive's Urban Deer Management <br /> Program in the past. He had attended the August meeting and wanted to revisit adding a buck <br /> incentive program to the urban deer hunt program and wanted to be available for any questions <br /> the Board may have. <br /> Urban Deer Management Program: <br /> Staff presented the application to participate in the City of Clive Urban Deer Management Pro- <br /> gram. Dates accommodate the same harvest time as last year, with the possibility of a change to <br /> the east zone time frame being moved back one week due to the Aquatic Center trail and bridge <br /> project being completed. Staff will be attending a preconstruction meeting tomorrow and will <br /> inform the Board of the contractor's expected completion date of the project and edit the packet <br /> accordingly upon Board's approval. <br /> Crawford made a motion to approve participation in the program with the stipulation of the <br /> Aquatic Center trail and bridge construction project completion date and modifying any date <br /> conflicts, seconded by Barnes. All signified aye, motion approved <br /> Capital Improvement Plan: <br /> City Council recently adopted a new Capital Improvement Program. There are several projects <br /> currently underway in our parks. The new program allows for an ongoing expenditure for items <br /> as well as one-time improvement projects. Looking at future one-time projects requires a look <br /> back at the 2009 Comprehensive Parks, Recreation and Open Space Plan. Included in the plan is <br /> an Implementation Plan reflecting Short Term, Mid Term and Long Term Implementation <br /> suggestions. Staff provided a review/planning exercise of the projects and is requesting approval <br /> of the review. <br /> Easler made a motion to approve the proposed review of the Capital Improvement Projects, <br /> seconded by Reed All signified aye, motion approved <br />
