The Board recommended that staff send out a final notices <br /> should be sent by certified letter to owners and copies sent to the city attorney to attempt to <br /> gain compliance. If compliance is not achieved, a municipal infraction should be issued. <br /> CSST Discussion &Resolution <br /> Based on the previously presented information and additional Board discussion,it was <br /> determined that the lack of CSST bonding does represent a hazard to the safety of <br /> residential rental occupants. <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY BANNISTER,SECONDED BY BRECKENRIDGE to confirm the <br /> staff position related to the classification of the lack of CSST bonding in residential rental <br /> dwelling units shall constitute a hazard that shall be ordered to be corrected upon proper <br /> notice by the Community Development Department. <br /> VOTE:YES-UNANIMOUS <br /> Egress Window Discussion <br /> While inspecting rental properties recently, staff has come across rooms being used for <br /> sleeping that do not have the appropriate egress windows (basement bedrooms, lofts and <br /> older properties with incorrect sized windows).
