The connector from the meter socket shall be correctly sized (per current code) for <br /> new service panel. <br /> 2. The new service panel with correctly sized breakers can be connected to the existing <br /> wiring. <br /> a. This is based on the assumption that the wire was correct at the time the permit <br /> was issued and the work was inspected. <br /> b. Should the wiring be deemed as unsafe or damaged, the installation of the new <br /> circuit connectors or wiring shall conform to current code. <br /> 3. The upgrade shall also include: <br /> a. GFCI to receptacles above counter tops in kitchens. <br /> b. GFCI receptacles in all bathrooms. <br /> c. GFCI to all existing exterior receptacles unless the existing receptacles are <br /> waterproof type correctly installed. <br /> d. GFCI to one garage receptacle. <br /> e. GFCI receptacle in the basement dedicated for the sump-pump. <br /> MOTION WAS MADE BY HARRINGTON, SECONDED BY BRECKENRIDGE to <br /> recommend approval for Electrical Service Panel Update per staff's suggestions. <br /> VOTE:YES-UNANIMOUS <br />
