Construction Services Administrator, Ryan Mayer, stated he contacted <br />several municipalities in the metro and they all stated they would require a restroom in this <br />circumstance, however, Mr. Fest stated he has several other storage units in other locations and <br />has never been required to have restrooms. Mayer stated there are alternatives to adding the <br />bathroom: Temporary port -a- potty, using a facility within 500 feet, etc. Fest stated he will <br />rough -in the bathroom in case a future tenant wants one and get a letter from the owner of <br />Metro Glass to allow his tenants to use their restroom since they are well within the 500 feet. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY BUNCE grant the variance to 2012 International Plumbing Code, <br />Table 403.1 as requested for Case #16 -2001. Motion died due to lack of a second. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY VOORHEES, SECONDED BY HARRINGTON to grant the <br />variance to 2012 International Plumbing Code, Table 403.1 as requested for Case #16 -2001 subject <br />to the following clarifications: <br />1. Applicant will acquire letter from his neighbor granting use of their restroom. <br />2. Applicant will rough -in bathroom for future use. <br />VOTE: YES - UNANIMOUS <br />
