The neighbor was not in support of the variance. <br />The applicant has operated a dog daycare business in this location for approximately four <br />years. They operated out of approximately half the space until they were able to buy the <br />property and now occupy the entire building. They would now like to expand the outdoor <br />exercise area, allowing for additional capacity. Under the current ordinance, a 10 foot <br />setback is required for the outdoor exercise area. Given those requirements, the outdoor <br />exercise area could be expanded to approximately 3,800 square feet. The applicant is <br />requesting a 5 foot setback, which would allow for an additional 600 square feet of outdoor <br />exercise area. <br />
