The
building entry is oriented toward the intersection of NW 114th ST and Campus DR with a
patient wing that is two stories and administrative area that will be one story.
Two neighbors of the proposed facility (Bradford Helgemo and Sandy Schulte) were
concerned about their view from their homes, privacy issues and noise from activity
outside; they asked that the building be rotated to avoid seeing the expanse of the rear
facade. Additionally, they are concerned that the project will greatly impact the value of
their homes. Staff assured them that the orientation of the building was studied and
changed to provide the least amount of impact possible, specifically as it related to site
lighting, and delivery vehicles.
