<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br />CLIVE PARKS AND RECREATION BOARD <br />Monday, April 13, 2009 <br />Council Chambers <br />th <br /> 1900 NW 114 Street <br /> <br />Chairman Otte called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Present – * <br />Barnes,Crawford, Klein, Otte, Reed <br /> <br /> Absent - <br />Easler, Guisinger <br /> <br />Diana Reed has been appointed to the Park Board to replace Dave Lorenzen, who recently <br />resigned. <br /> <br />Klein made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Barnes. All signified aye, motion <br />approved. <br /> <br />Klein made a motion to approve the consent items, seconded by Barnes. All signified aye, <br />motion approved. <br /> <br />There were no citizen presentations. <br /> <br />Clive Running Festival Event Request- <br /> <br />Ed Bell,Festival Race Director, gave an overview of the 2009 event reporting that there are no <br />changes in the course or event from the previous year’s application. <br /> <br />*Crawford arrived at 5:35. <br /> <br /> <br />Klein made a motion to approve the Clive Running Festival application as presented, Barnes <br /> <br />seconded the motion. All signified aye, motion approved. <br /> <br />Charles Gabus Bike Ride- <br />Kelly Canfield, Parks and Recreation Director, reviewed the application and explained the <br />course route to be taken on the Clive Greenbelt Trail. The Board asked that the group post <br />signs as to when they would access the Greenbelt Trail and the times that they would be using <br />it. <br /> <br />-Reed abstained from voting due to her membership in the fore mentioned group. <br /> <br />Klein made a motion to approve the Charles Gabus Bike Ride application as submitted, with <br />the addition of temporary signs being provided by the group. Crawford seconded the motion. <br /> <br />All signified aye, motion approved. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
