RESOLUTION NO. f' /- 3 a_._ <br /> RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING <br /> LINCOLN AVENUE FROM <br /> N. W. 98TH STREET TO N. W. 99TH STREET <br /> WHEREAS, the residents living on N. W. Lincoln Avenue have <br /> petitioned the City Council to close portions of said street <br /> on Sunday, May 27, 1984, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and <br /> 10:00 p.m. and; <br /> WHEREAS, said request is made in an effort by said resi- <br /> dents to increase the safety of residents and children attend <br /> ing a block party to be given by them on said date and at such <br /> time along Lincoln Avenue and; <br /> WHEREAS, the closing of this section will not create un- <br /> due problems for local traffic; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> the City of Clive, Iowa; <br /> 1. Subject to the provisions of paragraphs 2 and <br /> 3 below having first been met, the City Council <br /> of the City of Clive, Iowa, hereby closes Lincoln <br /> Avenue from N. W. 98th Street to N. W. 99th Street <br /> on Sunday, May 27, 1984 between 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 <br /> p.m. to through traffic. <br /> 2. This Resolution shall be of no force and effect <br /> unless one or more residents living on Lincoln <br /> Avenue shall first obtain those barridades of the <br /> type and number required by the Director of Public <br /> Works of the City of Clive, Iowa. Said delivery to <br /> be at a time and place designated by said Director. <br /> 3.
