RESOLUTION NO. fl- WQ <br /> RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING <br /> N. W. 90TH STREET COURT FROM <br /> INDIAN HILLS DRIVE TO CLARK STREET <br /> WHEREAS, the residents living on N. W. 90th Street Court <br /> petitioned the City Council to close portions of said street on <br /> Saturday, June 9, 1984, between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 <br /> p.m. and; <br /> WHEREAS, said request is made in an effort by said residents <br /> to increase the safety of residents and children attending a block <br /> • party to be given by them on said date and at such time along N. W. <br /> 90th Street Court and; <br /> WHEREAS, the closing of this section will not create undue <br /> problems for local traffic; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the <br /> City of Clive, Iowa. <br /> 1. Subject to the provisions of paragraphs 2 and <br /> 3 below having first been met, the City Council <br /> of the City of Clive, Iowa, hereby closes N. W. <br /> 90th Street Court from Indian Hills Drive to Clark <br /> Street on Saturday, June 9, 1984, between 5:00 p.m. <br /> to 10:00 p.m. to through traffic. <br /> 2. This Resolution shall be of no force and effect un- <br /> less one or more residents living on N. W. 90th Street <br /> Court shall first obtain those barricades of the type <br /> and number required by the Director of Public Works <br /> of the City of Clive, Iowa. Said delivery to be at <br /> a time and place designated by said Director. <br /> 3. No immobile obstacles that would limit or signifi- <br /> cantly slow access to emergency vehicles shall be <br /> placed in the traveled portion of the street, nor <br /> should any property owner be denied access to their <br /> property during the period when said streets are <br /> closed. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 3 day of J 10-i- , 1984. <br /> ' AO IL <br /> iR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> �.
