RESOLUTION NO. 1 0 1 40 <br /> RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING <br /> SUMMIT DRIVE BETWEEN N. W. 90TH (9021 SUMMIT) <br /> TO ITS END ON FRANKLIN AVENUE (9108 SUMMIT) AND FRANKLIN FROM <br /> N. W. 90TH (9027 FRANKLIN) TO ITS END ON SUMMIT DRIVE (9110 FRANKLIN) <br /> WHEREAS, the residents living on Summit Drive have petitioned the <br /> City Council to close portions of said street on Saturday, July 21st, <br /> 1984 between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. and; <br /> WHEREAS, said request is made in an effort by said residents to <br /> increase the safety of residents and children attending a block party <br /> • to be given by them on said date and at such time along Summit Drive <br /> and: <br /> WHEREAS, the closing of this section will not create undue problems <br /> for local traffic; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF the City of <br /> Clive, Iowa; <br /> 1. Subject to the provisions of paragraphs 2 and 3 below <br /> having first been met, the City Council of the City of <br /> Clive of Clive, Iowa, hereby closes those portions of <br /> Summit Drive on Saturday, July 21, 1984 between 6:00 <br /> p.m. and 12:00 a.m. to through traffic. <br /> 2. This Resolution shall be of no force and effect unless <br /> one or more residents living on Summit Drive shall first <br /> obtain those baracades of the type and number required <br /> by the Director of Public Works of the City of Clive, <br /> Iowa. Said delivery to be a time and place designated <br /> by Director. <br /> 3. No immobile obstacles that would limit or significantly <br /> slow access to emergency vehicles shall be placed in the <br /> traveled portion of the street, nor should any property <br /> owner be denied access to their property during the per - <br /> iod when said streets are closed. <br /> 4. That a Sound Equipment Permit be issued which shall pro - <br /> vide for its termination at midnight or upon the direction <br /> of a Clive police officer, whichever occurs first. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 11 day of day of , 1984 <br /> _inAllit____ <br /> iglr!
