P~' 1 v <br /> RESOLUTION SUSPENDING THE ISSUANCE OF BUILDING <br /> PERMITS AND APPLICATIONS TO THE CLIVE CITY <br /> COUNCIL FOR SITE -PLAN APPROVAL IN THE RECENTLY <br /> ANNEXED AREA WI IN THE CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA, <br /> PENDING COMPLETION AND ADOPTION OF A COMPREHENSIVE <br /> PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT IN SAID AREA, EXCEPT FOR <br /> IMPROVEMENTS TO EXISTING RESIDENTIAL DWELLINGS OR <br /> FOR LAND CONSIDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR REZONING <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the report <br /> of the City Community Development Director regarding a building more <br /> atorium for certain property within the City of Clive, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and by this reference incor- <br /> porated herein, and has considered the impact of further development <br /> of properties in the following- described and recently annexed area <br /> now located in the City of Clive (the *Area"): <br /> Beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 32, Township 79 <br /> North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa, and <br /> also being on the centerline of University Avenue, thence <br /> West along the South lines of Sections 32 and 31 in said <br /> Township 79 North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M. to the <br /> Southwest corner of said Section 31; thence North along the <br /> West line of said Section 31 to the Northwest corner of said <br /> Section 31; thence East along the North line of said Section <br /> 31 and the North line of said Section 32 to the North 1/4 <br /> corner of said Section 32; thence South along the West line <br /> of the Northeast 1/4 of said Section 32, 52.0 feet to a <br /> point on the South right -of -way of Hickman Road, said point <br /> also known as the Northwest corner of Lot 4, State Farm <br /> Addition, Polk County, Iowa; thence continuing South along <br /> said West line of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, 1249.17 <br /> feet to the centerline of the abandoned right -of -way of the <br /> Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad as it was <br /> originally located; thence Northeasterly along said center- <br /> line of the abandoned railroad right -of -way 579.67 feet; <br /> thence Easterly along a 1.97635 degree curve to the right, <br /> whose central angle is 6 54'30" and along the centerline of <br /> said abandoned railroad right -of -way 349.58 feet; thence <br /> Easterly continuing along said centerline of abandoned rail- <br /> road right -of -way 977.05 feet to a point that is 250.0 feet <br /> West of the centerline of the East lane of Interstate No. <br /> 35 -80; thence North, 454.8 feet, parallel with and 250.0 <br /> feet west of said Interstate No. 35 -80 centerline; thence <br /> Northwesterly, 608.41 feet along the West right -of -way of <br /> said Interstate No. 35 -80 and the East line of said Lot 4, <br /> State Farm Addition to the Northeast corner of said Lot 4; <br /> thence Northwesterly 1309.88 feet along the North line of <br /> said Lot 4 and the South right -of -way of Hickman Road; <br /> thence West 405.48 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot <br /> 4, State Farm Addition; thence North, 52.0 feet to the North <br /> 1/4 corner of Section 32, Township 79 North, Range 25 West <br /> of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa; thence East along the <br /> North line of said Section 32, to a point 53.28 feet West of <br /> the Northeast corner of Section 32, Township 79 North, Range <br /> 25 West of the 5th P.M., Polk County, Iowa; thence South- <br /> westerly, 890.74 feet to a point on the West line of Lot 2, <br /> Interstate Investment Subdivision, an Official Plat; thence <br /> South, 488.2 feet along the East right -of -way line of Inter- <br /> state No. 35 -80 to the South right -of -way line of the Chi- <br /> cago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad; thence East <br /> 8.46 feet along said South railroad right -of -way to a point <br /> also on the North line of Lot 7, Official Plat of the East <br /> 1/2 of Section 32, Township 79 North, Range 25 West; thence <br /> 4 <br />
