NO. <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> RESOLUTION SETTING TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON PROPOSED CHANGES TO THE "CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA, 1986" WITH <br /> RESPECT TO AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AND <br /> ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARIES (SECTION 5 OF <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 248) FOR CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE <br /> CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA. <br /> WHEREAS, the following legally described land is located in <br /> the City of Clive, Iowa: <br /> The southwest 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 of Section 31, <br /> Township 79 North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M. and the <br /> north 1/2 of the southeast 1/4 of the southeast 1/4 of <br /> Section 31, Township 79 North, Range 25 West of the 5th <br /> P.M., including road right -of -way and also; <br /> r" Beginning at the south 1/4 corner of Section 32, Township <br /> 79 North, Range 25 West of the 5th P.M.; thence west <br /> along the south line of said Section 32 to the southwest <br /> corner of the east 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of said <br /> Section 32; thence north along the west line of said east <br /> 1/2 of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32, 915.86 feet; <br /> thence east parallel to said south line of Section 32 to <br /> the east line of the southwest 1/4 of said Section 32; <br /> thence continuing east parallel to said south line of <br /> Section 32 to the west line of Hickory Hills, an official <br /> plat; thence south along said west line to the <br /> northwesterly right -of -way line of NW 120th Street; <br /> thence southwesterly along said right -of -way line to the <br /> north right -of -way line of University Avenue; thence <br /> south to the south line of said Section 32; thence west <br /> along said south line to the point of beginning. <br /> AND WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Clive has adopted <br /> the "1987 AMENDMENTS TO THE 1978 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF <br /> CLIVE, IOWA" wherein it is recommended to amend the "CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA, 1986" with respect to <br /> amending the Official Zoning Map and the zoning district boundaries <br /> of Section 5 of Ordinance No. 248 "ZONING ORDINANCE by rezoning <br /> said land from R -1 "SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT to R -4 <br /> "ATTACHED DWELLING DISTRICT <br /> WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council that said <br /> proposed amendment to rezone the said land from R -1 to R -4 be <br /> considered by the Clive Plan and Zoning Commission and such <br /> Commission file its report with the City Council prior to the time <br /> established herein for public hearing on said proposed amendment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed amendment to rezone the said land from <br /> R -1 to R -4 has been reduced to ordinance form and a public hearing <br /> upon the proposed Ordinance should be held and a time and place for <br /> hearing thereon should be fixed. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF CLIVE, IOWA: <br /> 1. That a public hearing be held by the Clive City Council <br /> on the aforesaid proposed Ordinance amending the "CODE OF <br /> ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF CLIVE, IOWA, 1986" with respect <br /> to amending the Official Zoning Map and zoning district <br /> boundaries (Section 5 of Ordinance No. 248 "ZONING <br /> ORDINANCE to provide that the above described land be <br /> rezoned from R -1 "Single Family Residence District to <br /> kluo R -4 "ATTACHED DWELLING DISTRICT at the Clive City <br /> Hall, 8505 Harbasqh Boulevard, in the City of Cli e <br /> County, Iow tf:O o'clock P.M. on the A 4, i th <br /> day of 1987, at which time the City <br /> Council w 1 onsider any objections to the proposed <br /> amendments and will hear citizens and parties in interest. <br />
