RESOLUTION NO. 6f-4 <br /> RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY CLOSING PORTIONS OF <br /> INDIAN HILLS DRIVE AND 94TH STREET, <br /> FOR THE CLIVE RUNNING FESTIVAL <br /> WHEREAS, the Clive Running Festival Committee has petitioned the City Council <br /> to close portions of said streets on Saturday, May 20, 1989 between the hours <br /> of 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and; <br /> WHEREAS, said request is made in an effort by said Running Festival Committee <br /> to increase safety of race participants and the public during the Clive running <br /> Festival to be held by them on said date and at such time along Indian Hills <br /> Drive and; <br /> WHEREAS, the closing of these sections will not create undue problems for <br /> local traffic; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNICL OF THE CITY <br /> OF CLIVE, IOWA; <br /> 1. Subject to the provisions of paragraph 2 and 3 below having first <br /> been met, the Clive, Iowa City Council, hereby closes the following <br /> streets to through traffic: Indian Hills Drive from N.W. 96th Street <br /> to 92nd Street; 94th Street from Indian Hills Drive to University Avenue; <br /> between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 1989. <br /> 2. This Resolution shall be of no force and effect unless the sponsors <br /> of the Clive Running Festival Committee shall first obtain those barricades <br /> of the type and number required by the Director of Public works of <br /> the City of Clive, Iowa. Said delivery to be at a time and place so <br /> designated by said Director. <br /> 3.
